Are trying to say Rick is supplying "stats" to the reborn Soca Warriors? :-)
Forget helping Jamaica...I want the Soca Warriors to create some damage in these last four matches...for your sake and Caribbean Football! In my mind, it is very important that we have (we force) the established 'football countries' step up the rate at which they look to our area for talent.

Thanks Flex, I remember those 93 results as that team was a wicked one. ONe can only wonder what would have happened if we had a coach like Simoes back then.
We had Tegat and the pearl up front with Hector Wright and Winston Anglin in the middle.
It was a wicked team trust me respect

Dont get me wrong Shattacleve, but if I was the coach of the JA squad,,,, Walter Boyd would not have been on the squad,,, simple facts,,,, he is not disiplined enough.
My team for the RBZ would be:
.......Lawerence...... ..Dawes..Goodison..Dixon .......J.Lawerence....... ..Sinclair..Simpson..Gardner ........Williams....... .....Fuller.....Lowe......
Fuller should start, I dont know why your coach is not playing this player, I saw him a fews time well and he was impressive, more than Burton, however Burton is more commited to JA than Yorke was to TT, so keep him:
Williams is a player I have always admire, very attacking player so I would put him in de attacking midfield position, he was the man who caused T&T's Stern John to break records in the MLS.
Gardner and Sinclair is probably your best wingers, Sinclair is a very hard worker, however I dont like him as a stopper he makes to much mistakes, Gardner on the other hand is probably, sorry not probably, but ! your best player and winger on the present JA squad, both players need to work on their finishing touch though.
Jamie Lawerence a person I know a little, we took the same flight(BW-529) to go to Trinidad together the last time T&T/JA meet (30th, June, 01), he is a very nice person and a friendly one as well, he told me he DONT like the position he is playing for JA, so from their I garther he is playing out of position, I also saw him 5 times last year for Bradford and he was voted my MAN OF THE MATCH all 5 times.
Withmore is no dought a very impressive midfield player, but he is a bit inconsistant at times, probably age or personal reasons are keeping him down ?
Powell, Burton, Hayles, Harris, Marshall, Davis, Thomas, Withmore and Ricketts will all add a very good deep bench.
Take care, just my 2 cents, you dont have to take it,,,hehehehe....

Flex yu seem to have left off a certain 6-1 victory for Jamaica though. ah, i think it is Jamaica 6 Trinidad & Tobago 1 around 1996-7. that wasn't done deliberately by any figment of the imagination now, was it?

Hello Emperor, this is the offical report for that game, I got it of the T&T Express, JA Observer and CANA news.
Game Report. August 31st, 1997. Jamaica they trounched the Caribbean allstars 6-1 infront of the home fans in Kingston. It was the biggest margin of victory for the Reggae Boyz over the Calypso Boys ever, passing the previous mark of 1-3 played in the same stadium. This is really turning out to be big soccer war between the two countries. Jamaica were out to get the Trini's after a humuliating lost Jamaica suffered in Antigua. The JFF were looking for a strong Trinidad and Tobago squad, however what they ended up was a squad with only one European professional in the lineup. The T&T squad had four rokie players in the game and had just thrown together a team last week. The Jamaicans on the other hand had all there "pros" at there disposal. It proved the difference as the amatuer team gave the Jamaicans all the room in the world to opperate. Jamaica were up to 2-0 in the first 22 minutes of play on goals from their "Jamaican professional" Paul Hall. Jerren Nixon only in the game because he is awaiting a work permit to complete his £300,000 transfer scored in the 36th minute. Ricardo Gardner made the score line 3-1 and Barbadian defender Nicholas Pitt beat his own goalie Clayton Ince to put the score 4-1 at the end of the first half. The second half was not much better for T&T as they gave Jamaica space to build a new National Staduim. Paul Young and Dean Sewell completed the "cut ass" for the Jamaicans. Two Caribbean players were ejected. Adaryl John and St. Vicentian, Welsey John were kicked out for dissent. The T&T team was so desimated by player's overseas that they included four non T&T players in Nicholas Pitt (Barbados), Welsey John (St Vincent) Kevin Nastant (Antigua) and Unisa Conteh (Sierra Leone).

So would you say that you beat Jamaica at copa caribe 2001 or that Grenada beat us "firstnight" or that we played to 0-0 ties with St Kitts and Martinique? would you say that Mexico and Honduras beat Brasil at Copa America? think carefully before you answer, your answers may put you on the spot.

Don't treat him so bad Emperor. Anyway Flex if T&T wanted to acheive anything in international football they would have kicked off Latapy and Yorke a long time ago(it was overdue) they weren't disciplined or commited enough.

Boy, Flex! This current team without the 'stars' seem to be showing more gumption.
Stronger team?

Flex, could you provide us with a URL from any of the three site mentioned with the article? If not, it is possible you could have doctored it for this post.

Yes! ShattaCleve and Karl, you are both right, Simoes came in and realise this as well, the TTFF was and is the problem, along with MOST of our professional players.
Trinidadians dont take life serious and that is our down fall, our players are not determin.
If Rene Simoes stay's with T&T until 2006 WC come's back around I will bet anything T&T qualify's, providing he get's the correct support from both the TTFF and the commited professional players.
PS: I'm dead serious, I may not be a big time player as Yorke and Latapy, but if I was incharged of that team along with the present staff, I mean if I had juice to call the shots T&T would of qualifyed a long time ago, 'ah dont ramp;.
By the way, Yorke, Latapy and Lara are all dead heads, if you notice I took down most, if not all the pictures and news about those 3 fellas, I'll tell you something though, it's not over I only hope they come begging back for T&T to forgive them, and believe it or not the T&T people are some stupid they would, that's why we cant progress, we allow people to control us and we dont stand up for ourselves.

I was hoping you could just give me the URL to the article from one of the sites, since you claim they all carried that story.
Here is something on history of Jamaica's football from this site
