I have been saying that Jamaica should use three forwards, three midfielders and four defenders. Now we can do it, with Boyd back we have the option of using such a formation.

If we start with Fuller and Burton upfront and Lowe just a trail behind them, it would give us that extra man to add some punch to our attack. Lowe could also support our midfielders as well.

thats my view let me hear what you think.

Putas: Do you care to say how the rest of the team would look? Remember if you play one extra forward, you will need to take a player out from somewhere else.

Putas: I like your side with a few suggestions.

Firstly, Goodison will miss our next match, so you need a replacement for him. My suggestoon would be to bring Dixon in Pepe's place, and Use Jamie Lawrence where you have Dixon.

****************Lawrence*****************

********Sinclair******Dixon***********

Jamie L****************************Marshall

****************Powell*******************

*******Simpson**********Gardner**********

*****************Lowe********************
****Burton********************Fuller******

I am still worried about Dixon though, as I feel he might not be up to it at this stage of the game. I thought he made two mistakes at the Azteca which hurt us. Maybe we should be using Marco McDonald or Shavar Thomas there, but I am not sure.

Having seen Lowe play here in KC, I think the position you have him would suit him well. I only hope he will incorporate some of the teamplay that I see him exihibit for the Wizards.

So you realize you are leaving out the Pearl, Whitmore, Andy Williams, Micah Hyde. Many will not like you for this, but my question to you is considering we have no injuries, how would you use your subs?

Respect,
Tilla

I am very pleased that we don't have any injuries and thus it gives us a lot of options as to who, when, and why we substitute.

My main substitutions for the game would be Boyd for Fuller, Williams for Burton and Hyde for Gardner.

Even though I am a Whitmore fan I think its time for him to sit on the bench and watch. I believe that if he is left out or made to earn a spot in the starting 11 his game will inprove. I believe now more than ever that Jamaica has what it takes to return to the greatest show an earth, and not just return, but show that they are worthy of there spot.

My preditions for the upcoming games are as follows:
Jam. 1-0 Mex.
Jam. 1-1 Hon.
Jam. 2-1 US
Jam. 2-0 C.R.

I'll be Jamaica's loudest suporter for the up coming game against the US. I will be there and I will watch the Reggae Boyz qualify for the World Cup Finals.

Big up All Mo-Bay People!!!
PEACE!!!

You still have not addressed the back line problem with Goodison out. Who would you bring in for him?

Excellent I think that the Pearl should get 30 minutes max and be allowed to work his way back into contention. HIs main job will be to serve passes to the big man.

Unfortunately for us we have backed ourselves into a corner with this no friendly strategy and now our youngsters have no experience to step up and fill a Goodison shoes.

Without vision the people perish and it seems as if we will have to fail first to learn.

respect

Again I say that I'm very pleased to know that we have option on our bench. For the first time in about 5 years I can say that, to find a replacement for Goodison is not a problem. My first choice would be Dawes because of his experience and because of the opposition. I am very comfortable with him in the back with Sinclair. Thomas can play in the next match or get his oppurtunity another time.

Isn't it great to know that we don't have to worry about injuries? Well aleast for now. Isn't it also great to know that we acctually don't know who will start {baring injuries} in the next game against Mexico?

You don't think that the Reggae Boyz have a vision? I choose to disagree. I also disagree with the statement that our younger players lack experience. Let me remind you that most of the players that went to the under 17 W.C. also went to the under 20 W.C. too. Having been to two W.C. they must have gained something that would make it easier for them to fit into the national squad.

I don't believe that now is the time to be trying out our younger players, all our focus should be on our national squad and making it to the World Cup in Japan/Korea.

I was thinking the other day about the Copa America tournament and I want to ask you all something. With Mexico and Honduras making it to the quarterfinals and more significantly, with Honduras beating Brazil 2-0, does this mean that we are going to have a tougher time playing these two teams or does it mean that the quality of our football in CONCACAF has risen to a level where we can do more that just put up a fight against the top teams in football?

Tell me what you think.

Big up all the Bogue people in Montego bay!!

Putas: I find it so hard to argue with you, as we seem to agree on so many things. For one, I did not remember that we had Dawes who could fill in for Goodison. I like Dawes' steadiness, no fancyness and always aware attitude. I think he is the perfect replacement, but can he handle the left side of defense?

I also agree that our young players are not too inexperienced. I must say though, that although they have some experience, relatively speaking on the full international level, they are just beginners. We need to find ways to expose the youth in our games.

What do you think of Dixon? Do you think he is still good enough to hold on to the captain's arm band? I don't know, but I get the feel that he is becoming a liability in defense. Maybe we want to give more playing time to Marco McDonald.

As to the Copa America competition, it is showing that CONCACAF has come a long way in catching up with the South Americans. Jamaica should not worry though, as we are not too far behind those teams, as a matter of fact, I would say we are beside them.

Respect.
Tilla

As a seasoned professional Chris Dawes should be able to to handle any part of the defence. With the formation that I suggested Dawes and Sinclair would play a more central role with Marshall/Lawrence on the left and Dixon/McDonald on the right.

Again I say this, and you must understand why: I am so happy to know that we acctually have options on our bench. I Don't think the coach will have Dixon in good condition and not start him. I guess Dixon is now in the spot that Tappa has been for the past year or so; He has become inconsistent and now we are slowly loosing our faith in him.

I am very sure that after the World Cup in Japan/Korea we will see a new and even better set of players for our national squad. That is the time I expect to see Kelly, Thomas, Johnson, Daley, and all those other youngsters as 'Full time' members of the national squad. I don't think that throwing in them now will help our cause, we need to focus on our present players.

You want Sinclair in the middle of your defense boss? Him kinda unreliable.
