For us to go forward we must understand the past and how it as affected the present inorder for us to better position ourself to deal with the future.
Football is the world sport and it continues to grow in popularity as we speak. It's numerous professional leagues, competitions, stars, viewers and millions of fans attest to that. But it has also become a very lucrative business in an increasingly competitive and expanding arena.
So if the Reggaeboyz are to continue growing and intend to remain competitive in this football arena, it will call for the ones in charge to understand the concept of past, present and future and how it directly and indirectly relates to and affect the Boyz. That will enable and assist them in designing long term and short term plans of actions, that will see the ReggaeBoyz move forward in a professional manner while generating much needed attention and success.
These formulated plans should be aggressively marketed, not amongst themslelves only, but also to the supporters, sponsors, players, coaches, schools and club owners ect., for the now famous term, "Perpetual Renewal" to take full effec.
Qualifying for competitions before nineteen ninety-eight was tough. Leading up to 2002 was even tougher, and there is no doubt that it will be even tougher after 2002 leading up to 2006. Not just the senior World Cup qualifying games, but the juniors are becoming increasinly difficult with each passing tournaments.
The players today are being introduce to professionalism at an early age, and nations, who ordinarily ignored these tournaments, have now recognized that the exposure and experience gained at these levels are worth the undertaking, not just for the development of the players but also the nations soccer leagcy.
Lets us, Reggae Boyz supporterz, all over the world appeal unto the powers that be to take the necessary steps that will see the Boyz and Girlz take their rightful place on football grand stages.
Respect and irie ites! Charmin
