Picture: Is Fuller the man
to light up Tynecastle?

The Hearts boss has made an approach to Italian Serie A side Fiorentina in an attempt to lure Greek Under-21 hitman Georgeos Vakouftsis to Tynecastle on loan until the end of the season.

That bid looked to be going well as recently as a fortnight ago until La Viola's international hitman Enrico Chiesa damaged knee ligaments and was ruled out of action until the start of next season.

Indeed prior to Vakouftsis's involvement in European Under-21 Championship qualifiers two weeks ago, the giant targetman had trained with his proposed Hearts team-mates.
Levein has also been linked with Jamaican international hitman Ricardo Fuller of Crystal Palace, and it is likely that one of those two will arrive in Edinburgh in time to lead the Hearts attack in this Sunday's clash with bitter rivals Hibernian.

The Tynecastle support are desperate for a new hero after the recent sales of several fans' favourites. Indeed, The Jambos are further desperate for attacking cover after Saturday's injury to Northern Irish international Andy Kirk.

Good news for Fuller and hopefully he will rise to the occasion. God knows that he needs to get back playing competitive football.

How long has he been on trial again? I think not playig competitively for so long affected his decisiveness in front goal. Hopefully, this will get him back on track.

Carl Brown and company should start from now to enter into some form of dialogue with Fuller's new club, Hearts. That is if they intend on using him come Nov 20.

Good luck to "Wily Boo".

Respect and irie ites!

With you on this one. I believe Fuller has the goods to make it at the highest level. Like you I thought his lack of quality match practise showed against the US. He certainly was not fit.
