Ipswich are being told they have missed out on the signing of a future star, in the shape of Bolton's Jermaine Johnson.
The 21-year-old Jamaican midfielder has played twice for The Trotters this season and has received glowing praise, hailing him as a future star and a bargain at £700,000. However, Johnson was on a trial spell at Portman Road last season but never got the chance to demonstrate his ability after a trial match organised for him was cancelled due to bad weather.
He left Suffolk having never played for The Blues and eventually found his way to the Reebok Stadium, where his name was kept under wraps in an attempt to keep prying eyes away.
Despite impressing in his first two games with his skill and pace, Johnson insists the best is yet to come from him - which would leave Sam Allardyce delighted but could leave George Burley ruing the bout of bad weather which hampered his chances at Portman Road.
"It's great for me to have signed for Bolton and to have a chance to play in the Premiership with Ricardo (fellow Jamaica international Gardner). "It's always been my ambition to play in England. I enjoyed the game against Sunderland but I can do better," said the former Tivoli Gardens star.

I hope these performances are good enough to show the JFF that this youth should be starting. WE have players in the line up that dont impress while wearing the colours, so time fi some changes.
My team.

Lyod, I agree with your side except for one thing. D_I_X_O_N spells L_I_A_B_I_L_I_T_Y.
I think Sinclair is a better defender at this time.

We have continually failed to prepare quality defenders and so we pay the price. A competent organisation that was looking ahead would have made sure that we groomed a few replacements.
