    I draw a parallel between what that JC team did in winning the US robotics competition and what KC in the 1960s did in winning at the Penn Relays.
    Basically it was Jamaicans with an absolute minimum of resources competing and winning against schools from the (so called ) First World with, by our standards...overwhelming resources
    It's a reminder that our young people have absolutely tremendous abilities and potential. So we need to invest in them to enable them to maximize that potential. When we do that we will build a great country
    So the more evolved know that the solutions to our backwardness lie in exposing our yutes to cutting edge development, world class testing & mind-stretching challenges.... whether it be in education or some simple activity like football

    Focusing on short cuts, trinkets and assorted rubbish...that's a prescription for continued backwardness
