    Sass, I heard the rights to the Skatalites is owned by their Keyboardist, X how do u like that?

    the rights to the name or the rights to the songs? It would surprise me if the rights to most of their songs were owned by them.

          The name Skatalites, I was told it was never registered, and the Keyboard player did so, that means when the last Skatalite dies the Pie is his..Royalties??? Who was their manager again?

            X, I ask the question to someone who as been involved with Jamaican music since 1963 at least about where would he stage a International Ska Fest, Mexico City and Buenos Aires, how ya like that?

              Hard to believe ,that would require a significant amount of money (millions) and most is owned by coxsone ,who i believed sold his rights for millions to another company.
