Transparency, co-operation and clean-living paid off for Mr ‘Butch’ Stewart and Sandals as seen in the results of the investigations by British and US authorities in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The green-eyed monsters will not be happy but what is more important is for justice to prevail. It must be impossible to run an empire and be able to keep a personal eye on the renegades inside. US$12 million is no small change to have to pay out because of an employee’s corrupt ways. But on the bright side, Butch, no amount of money can equate with your integrity. I‘m an even bigger admirer now.
