UDC retreat stalls PAC probe of the Sandals Whitehouse Project (must be a focking joke!)
More delays have hit the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) probing the cost overruns into the Sandals Whitehouse Project.
At Tuesday morning's sitting it was revealed that the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), which was scheduled to send representatives, had written to the Committee stating their unavailability.
According to the UDC's letter, its annual board retreat commences Wednesday and that made it impossible for the agency to attend the PAC sitting.
A suggestion was made that the committee conducts other businesses over the next two weeks and resume its Sandals probe on March 6.

It was then decided that the Committee would adjourn until March 6 when Ashtrom Vice President Rami Subochi (SUBOOKEY) would face questions.
The Committee also indicated that requests from Nevalco head Alston Stewart and Dr. Lawrence to receive written queries would be entertained.
