THE Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has been asked by Prime Minister Bruce Golding to conduct further investigations into media reports that 16-year-old Dale Anthony Davis went missing in May during the operation by security forces in the West Kingston community of Tivoli Gardens.
Mother of the missing boy, Dawn Brown, met yesterday with Golding who is also the Member of Parliament for West Kingston, said a statement from Jamaica House this afternoon.
Brown reportedly told the prime minister said her son had been living in Tivoli Gardens for the last two years with an aunt, who he had requested to attend the meeting but did not.
The police said that Davis was not among the persons who were detained in the State of Emergency and whose names were registered. The police also stated that he was not among those identified persons killed by security forces.
Brown has been requested to assist in getting the aunt to provide information to assist in the process.
