Don't know how many of you know the degree of deforestation taking place in the cockpit country in Jamaica.
Last week I drove for miles looking at hundreds (maybe thousands) stakes on the ground--waiting to be used in yam cultivation. These stakes come for clearing the forest of trees that serve a vital purpose.
There must be--and there is a better way.
Undoubtedly, the landslide in China is the result of poor soil conservation...................................... ..........................
