"Under the revised theme 'Renewing the Hope, Securing the Future', the public will be treated to a dramatisation of some of the historic moments in the PNP.
Those in attendance will be treated to a rendition of the national anthem by gifted soloist Jimmy Tucker.
The talented singer will also perform a favourite hymn of PNP founder Norman Manley; There Were 90 And Nine.
Notable playwright Louis Marriott, who has been involved in the local theatre movement for many years, is scheduled to narrate tonight's dramatisation.
Characters
Norman Manley, the first president of the PNP, will be played by Patrick Atkinson and Manley's son, Michael, who succeeded him in 1967 and remained until 1992, will be played by Member of Parliament for Central Kingston, Ronald Thwaites.
The two other presidents of the PNP, P.J.Patterson, who served for 14 years between 1992 and 2005 and, his successor, Portia Simpson Miller, will play themselves.
The dramatisation is expected to be interspersed with musical selections such as My Leader Born Ya by Neville Martin and Young Gifted and Black, to be performed Bob Andy and Dimario McDowell, as well as Can't Even Walk by Sandra Brooks.
The conference continues tomorrow at the Chinese Benevolent Association, with the private session where delegates are expected to get down to business with the delivery of a series of reports from spokespersons and the tabling of resolutions.
The conference climaxes on Sunday at the National Arena with the presidential address from Simpson Miller. "
