  • Nutrament Shield - St Georges win should count!

    The Nutrament Shield was played between the Champions of the Walker Cup and the Ben Francis Knock Out Competitions. St Georges won in in 1983 and means that they have won 46 schoolboy football trophies.

    I think it was the season of 78 that Camperdown had a gem of a player called Mughead.
    What has changed is the number is far greater today regarding players that are worthy to be etched in our memories forever.

      I am not sure the Nutrament Shield listing are right, I am sure Cornwall College won the shield at least once, I knew we won everything in a three year period between 1982-1984

        Yes, CC won outright or shared it with StGC in 1984 from what I heard.

          The won outright it if memory serves me right.We scored first in their gladiator arena and their fans started hurling missiles, they eventually scored two goals to win...
          They came to Kingston without the hooligan behaviour and won.
          Hats off to them fir beating one of our best teans ever.
