A new champion will be crowned in the Walker Cup knock-out football competition after title holders Excelsior were beaten 2-1 by defending Manning Cup champions St George's College in the quarter-final at the Constant Spring field yesterday.
St George's opponents in the semi-finals will be Norman Manley, who rallied from a 0-4 half-time deficit to beat Waterford 5-4 on penalties in the curtain-raiser of the double header.

The semi-finals, which were initially scheduled for Tuesday at Constant Spring, have been postponed until Wednesday.
ISSA's competition director Georges Forbes told the Sunday Observer that the date switch was done to accommodate the fourth quarter-final encounter between Jamaica College (JC) and St Andrew Technical (STATHS) that will be played tomorrow, starting at 2:30 pm at the same venue.
The game which should have been played on Friday was postponed due a waterlogged pitch on Friday. The winners of the JC versus STATHS encounter will face Bridgeport in the other semi-final.
In yesterday's feature of the quarter-final double-header, goals in either half by McKauly Tulloch and captain Devon Williams lifted St George's to a 2-1 win over Excelsior.
National junior representative Tulloch scored from the penalty spot in the 45 minute after he was fouled in the 18-yard box by Jerome Williams.
Williams doubled the lead for the Light Blues in the 83rd minute by driving his right-footed effort on the volley from 22 yards into the top right hand corner. He was supplied with an inch-perfect left cross from the left flank by Kemar Cummings.
Excelsior's consolation came in the 88th minute when substitute Neco Brent ran onto a lobbed pass from Williams and beat the advancing goalkeeper, Jevaughn Lennon.
Earlier, Norman Manley needed penalties to stop Waterford.
Both teams had earlier played to a 2-2 tie after 115 minutes of regulation and extra time.
Substitute Dwayne Walters converted the winning penalty in the sudden-death shootout after a player from each team missed one of their initial five efforts.
Waterford, who dominated the first half of regulation time with goals by Oshane Greives and Richard Davis in the 26th and 32nd, folded under the consistent pressure from Norman Manley in the second period.
Norman Manley's goals came from Dean Phillips and substitute Lamar Thompson in the 72nd and 79th.
