  • My fellow Manulifans.

I am of the opinion that there is enough blame to go around, our managers, players, and fans have failed the club.
Case in point, of the three defenders(Lindelof,MaGuire, and Bailly)which one would Garner the most interest by clubs if they were all placed on the market, why isn't that reflected in the pecking order?
I am aware that we paid a planeload of money for MaGuire and therefore we are inclined to play him but why is he the captain, what is his claim to being a reliable player who leads by example, what has he won?
The argument that Ronaldo's inclusion is thwarting the progress of the team is unsupported, that player exemplifies what it takes to wear the jersey than anyone else, and intriguingly, the next player in line is Cavani who is the latest addition to the squad. We are left with a bunch of players winning absolutely nothing, yet we expect they have the mindset required to lift the EPL trophy?
We get exactly what we want when we gift any and everybody preferential treatment.
Eons ago, I suggested that we get a data analyst,it is of utmost importance to know the percentage of accurate crosses in the box,if the numbers are as low as I think then we need to entrust that duty to more reliable players as opposed to wingbacks.
This is what the interim manager should be mandated to do,strip MaGuire of the captain armband, implement a hard pressing game with the idea of quickly substituting violators(a concerted is needed),revert to the ancient 4--4-2 formation so we may once again have a Nani,a Renoldo,a Beckham etc, that would free up our wingbacks to bolster our suspect midfield, start Beek ahead of Fred, designate Rashford,Greenwood, and Sancho as wingers.
To think the deGea could have been replaced by Henderson is a lesson in not giving up proven players for the ones achieving marginal success at lesser clubs.
Make Ronaldo our captain and we will get the best out of his highly paid teammates shortchanging the fans and club.

Rocky, you're highlighting the symptoms and not addressing the disease. The club has not evolved and is languishing in the past. Ronaldo is a historic icon of the past. Ronaldo's last trophy at Manchester United was 13 years ago when many in the squad were toddlers. ManCity, Chelsea, Liverfool and even Leicester City have all won trophies with players who had never won anything. Ronaldo cost OGS his job.
Hey .. look at the bright side .... at least you're not a Liverpool fan! - Lazie 2/24/10 Paul Marin -19 is one thing, 20 is a whole other matter. It gets even worse if they win the UCL. *groan*. 05/18/2011.MU fans naah cough, but all a unuh a vomit?-Lazie 1/11/2015

Jangle, well then let us remove Ronaldo as the primary focus of the discussion, this current crop of teammates pale in comparison to his former teammates, and that is the case in EVERY of the positions, what if they were better, where where would we be regarding the table?

I agree with you regarding the quality of the squad. That is a result of the mismanagement from the top. We need a complete overall from top to bottom. Unfortunately, we are stuck in this quagmire for another 3 to 5 years. For the rest of this season, I think the priority is finishing in the top ten. Just getting through till the end and getting the right coach in the day following the last day of the season.
