Karl - would Giroud have made a difference? I neva see Sanchez name call nearly the whole game...I think he was wasted up top. I would have brought him into the midfield with Corzola.

P Marin Liverpool score 4 gems Hats off especiaaly Mane's

Courtino first and the pass and movement for Courtino second. My team a penny pinch.
I thought the pundists were haters not picking Arsenal to win the Prem or to be in the top four but I am seeing how ignorant our manager is, so dem right> Man act like him hate spending money. Arsenal needed a few upgrade since how long now. Sanchez hardly touch di ball and wen he did he slow down the plays...looking around.
This season will be a long long frustrating one once again.

Well PJ, I agree my side scored 4 really terrific goals. The second one by Coutinho and Mane's were simply outstanding. BUT...while I personally think your manager's time is up, one cannot argue with the amazing balancing act he pulled off. When you all built the new stadium, the club went into hundreds of millions of pounds in debt. They were in a major squeeze, almost betting the farm on UCL qualification to pay off the loans AND doing so, without bringing in any major signings. The club *is no longer* in that position, so it is a bit perplexing to understand why they have not upped their spending to bring in truly top talent especially considering the automatic revenue increase received from the new TV deal. My *guess* is that this result will give your manager a wakeup call not unlike the 8-2 against Manu** a few years ago. No matter, history has proven that counting Wenger out is dangerous business. I suspect that the board doesn't care about winning trophies, just qualifying for UCL and keeping the club in the black...hence...no pressure other than top 4 - fans however - think differently.

            Hush!
My guess is Wenger's afterthought has to be he would spend a planeload of money to get Pogba, his renaissance.

Just a minor point... I don't think Barclays involved anymore.

After one match the discerning will have noticed that there is work to be done! for everyone! not that I was upset by the final result!

Fine, ignore the smoke alarms going off,it is probably Grandma making scrambled eggs the way she likes it.
So the idea is there is more than enough time to just pick up the needed points as the competition progresses, even though limited the points you can get from Leicester.

Maybe it is soothing, but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush,we are talking about affording the creedence to future hope driven expectations as we do to things that actually occurred.

Gamma - the win for Liverpool is more significant than the loss for Arsenal. It is a step in the right direction to validate a host of questions that hang over the owners, the manager, the players and the team's administration despite all the positive vibes that Klopp has brought to the party.

On the other side of the coin, many of your fellow Arsenal supporters see Sunday's result as justification to let Wenger go on his way...but, as you already know, Wenger doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. Many can't comprehend how much of an incredibly difficult job it was to keep the club in the top 4 to help alleviate the debt burden of the new stadium all the while keeping spending at a bare minimum.

However, the club is no longer in that precarious financial position, so it is not a stretch to ask Wenger why he won't go out and challenge other top clubs for top talent - it is not an issue of money anymore, and lord knows Arsenal is no longer developing talent. What then therefore, is Wenger's strategy?
