COACHING

Coaching will be a major beneficiary and our development…thrust. We believe that members of technical teams…nutritionists and trainers should be included in the . . .  

We will establish rigorous coaching standards. We will require that coaches submit themselves to sitting regular examinations in order to determine their fitness for the task.

In keeping with our philosophy of continuous training we will require our coaches to avail themselves of regular refresher courses and will be developing videos and manuals for coaches and players.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The proposed JFF complex should be the headquarters of all football activities in Jamaica. What we mean is that the facilities of the complex would be multipurpose encompassing the physical as well as the administrative sides of the game.

An academy which provides training for players, coaches and administrators will be the centerpiece of such a facility…that those who engage in football related activities…exposed to formal training. The academy which would…. residential features would be equipped with the state of the…equipment for teams at all levels.

We also intend to move the administrative offices of the JFF to the complex thus creating cost efficiencies. Some of the officers of the JFF could serve as lecturers.
