Referees must be professional. They must be knowledgeable and properly compensated. Referees can be supported in the...through proper public education programmes….by the JFF.

Referees are often the victims of...spectators, ignorant of the rules of the game. A…and public education programme will help to raise public awareness of the rules of the game.

Such a progress will however put added pressure on the referees to be up to date with the laws and practices of the game as they will now be scrutinized by a more discerning public. The JFF should assist in providing training for referees and…and football related audio visual materials available. . .
