Yet another product of Wimbledon’s youth policy, Damien graduated to the first team back in 2000 when he featured on the fringes of the squad in their final season in the Premiership.
The following season under Terry Burton saw him secure a regular starting place, and impressed with a string of goalscoring performances from the middle of midfield.
A long-term injury saw him miss the end of the 2000/01 campaign and the whole of pre-season, but after returning to action in November, continued where he had left off, and will be a very influential part |
