Reggae Boyz: Matches should be arranged against Japan, Korea.... *They will desire putting the WCup venues to use to pay for upkeep and they will consider us credible opponents (...all for their own selfish purposes – They will think “win”…but, competitive).

China because they play a wide open attacking game... and we should expect their game to develop as they push for credibility on the world scene. Therefore it is in our interest to make friends here.

*Scotland and England (If the English turn up their noses) then Ireland. These teams believe they are sure to win any match against us even as they believe we will be competitive.

*The USA in the tri-state area.

Most of the matches should be arranged outside of the island as marketing of the Reggae Boyz moves into full swing....and appearance fees sustain the continuous Nataional Senior Team rebuilding...and retention of permanant match readiness of the Reggae Boyz is acheived.

Brazil in Brazil.

Mexico or Costa Rica at home against totally local squads.

Two from Spain, Austria, Portugal, Germany.

Purely for technical reasons – We play these attacking teams with wide open fast paced games. The game has moved to new heights where quickness – reaction time and acceleration rate - , TEAM PLAY and shape (players knowing where to be on the field of in relation to ball, opponents and teammate) and skill on the ball (being able to make the ball obey the players commands) all are being carried out at “blinding speed”). The Reggae Boys and Jamaica’s football needs to aim for these levels.

The JFF should have all the NPL Teams select three coaches/TDs to observe national senior team training… i.e. they observe our National Coaches at work during arranged selected times. They discuss and critique among themselves. Observing and Learning as the sessions move on.

It is also important that on a revolving basis local NPL coaches travel (and those accompaning the Reggae Boys must be our locals) with the National team to observe training methods of the Reggae Boyz as they travel, and to absorb all they can of football arrangements on the international scene. Obviously those exposed to the high organization met will return to share the knowledge gained and contribute to raising of local standards.

The NPL coaches/TDs in Confederation groups must meet regularly in complementary “Learning” situations under the direction of the National TD to discus advances in coaching/training….and to view selected international matches or excerpts of matches for the sole purpose of “learning”/improving knowledge of the game.

Hey! The quality of the local game needs improvement across the island.

More possibilities for Reggae Boyz games -

Games against non-USA nations with strong ethnic following in US cities - i.e. vs. Russia in New York; vs. Poland in Chicago, which may have to wait until the renovation of Soldier Field is complete; vs. Korea on US West Coast (LA, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle) or Central American countries in
Texas, Phoenixz, or Southern California.
