Fitz has signed for our club - Walsall FC in the English First Division. He was on loan to us at the end of last season and we are very pleased to have signed him permanently.

I know that he played for Jamaica during the summer and presume that he will be selected for the squad for the forthcoming matches in September, October and November.
How much time does the Jamaican coach usually require the English based players to be in the caribbean? We Walsall fans don't want to lose him for too many matches!

ChrisM: We thank you for visiting and expressing your concerns. Fitzroy is a very crucial part of the Reggae Boyz team, and I am sure his absence will be missed by the Saddlers.

At this point in our qualifications, we only have four more games to go. I hope that will not hurt you guys too much. Fitzroy is very committed to your team as is he to the Reggae Boyz'. Let us get these four games out of the way so we can throw our support behind the Saddlers.

Respect,
Tilla

Rest assure you wont lose him for too long, like Tilla said there are only four remaining games and our TD (if i can judge anything from the past) wont call in the overseas based players too far in advance. I have a question for you if you don't mind, how is Paul Hall doing and what kind of condition is he in now? he has been recalled to the team also but i haven't heard much of him lately.
let me also welcome you to our place, i hope you will stay here and provide us with info on the progress of our boyz and invite your mates here also. we ultimately become fanz of the teams our boyz play for so feel at home there are a lot of Walsall fanz here.

Paul Hall played most of our games last season but the fans consider him lazy because he doesn't track back enough to help out the defence. He usually puts in one great cross per match with the rest sailing over the bar, he has though scored a few goals usually by being at the back post when a cross comes over from the left.
It looks like he has lost his first-choice place on the right-wing to a new Brazilian winger called Herivelto who we have signed from Cruzeiro. But it is early days yet (we have only played one game so far this season).
I found this excellent site during the summer when I was monitoring Fitz's exploits just in case he came back to us and will certainly come back with regular updates on Fitz and Paul Hall.

Thanx for the info

Thanks a lot for the info on Paul. it comes as a bit of surprise though as Paul was liked more than anything else for the very thing that you say the fans are getting on him for, running back and help out the defense. Paul was a tireless worker on our team so much so that he earned himsel the nick name "The Energizer Bunny"- he just kept going for the full 90. for the sake of the Reggaeboyz and Walsall i hope he regain that part of his game. who knows the challenge for first team ball may be just what he needs to spur him on.

Walsall should probably scout for more of our young talents we have them in abundance. you could probably get a gem like bolton did.
