  • How low will the JLP go?

The Jamaica Labour Party has bought an Internet domain name featuring the words Portia Simpson Miller and the People's National Party (PNP) is upset about it.

As a consequence of the purchase, when Internet users ‎enter the url www.portiasimpsonmiller.com, they are taken to the JLP's website ‎www.jamaicalabourparty.com.

Not really, they both are doing it and it is NOT a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Much bigger fish out there to fry.

About that bigger fish,it may not be a big deal to the members of both parties, but JP is quite aware and annoyed by those very(70's) games.

Willi, whether both are doing it , or there are bigger fish to fry, does not change the defintition of ambush marketing.

What they are doing, in a political sense, is using their opponents products or branding to promote their own, which is essentially what ambush marketing is.
