  • Well,well, well,what have we here.

Two games, different results yet a shared revelation.
Neither anywhere as good as their fans would have us believe.
We all can learn from this, we know the moral police of football is selective in his classification of robbery, and he(the only one out of the pair of City fans with any sense)is now fully aware that the success his team had only served to deceive.
As to the BIG man, Sir X,maybe Pool can turn this around, but this Real Madrid team seems to have done its homework, and I see no reason why it will not rise to the occasion in the return match.
Verdict-a speedy exit for both team is imminent, but as to whether the afflicted fans will learn anything is anyone's guess.
Maybe Chelsea will redeem the prowess of EPL teams.

You still do not get it, EPL stats mean only so much, he will not be afforded all the time in the World to receive the ball and then plot his next move. His teammates weren't and were bothered by it.
Myriad tackles were incorrectly deemed a foul, I expect that to change in the return leg for Dortmund with the possession stats to sway heavily in favour of the German Club.

Perhaps but that is only a response to a result and not the cause.

Careful now, do remember when Liverpool won the CL it was dubbed the best club team in Europe, and by extension, Spurs became the second best club team.
Didn't your fly by night team win the EPL that season, out-ranked by two other EPL teams.
It is within the same vein of giving credence to the CL which is what you purport with your silly question.

And still Man U is the club with the most EPL titles, and the CL title eluded City during that enormous barren period for Man U, the gap regarding that trophy remained intact.

I am sure Man U being in the Europa League is particularly comforting to you, after all, you will not face the side that reduced yours to a mere beating stick.
Europa League means more to some teams than others, if this plays out the way I figure, it likely will be Pool's(a side that won the CL competition unlike your domesticated team) only hope of seeing CL action in the near future.
