  • HL!!!.......Young U.S. players, in Europe,

continue to play well. The 4 best performances, in the last 3 days are:

    3. Konrad De La Fuente (18; FC Barcelona B; Left Wing)
VIDEO of his goal, on Sunday: https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/news/...l-three-points
*His performances earned him a call up to train with the 1st team

*You already saw him make debut for the USMNT, on Saturday, and score the lone goal.

Jay Berhalter stepping down, as U.S. Soccer CCO, at the end of the month: https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2020/...down-end-month

*It was rumored that Jay was positioning himself to take over the U.S. Soccer CEO position, after Dan Flynn stepped down, last September.......There was a lot of objection to this, from outside U.S. Soccer, and they announced, in January, that the next CEO will hired from outside the federation - I think Claudio Reyna would be a very good hire, for the position, BUT I don't know if he would leave his new position at Austin FC & move to Chicago.

I did a back flip when I saw ".... Berhalter stepping down.....", but landed on my head when I saw it was Jay. So much for wishful thinking.

I have very high hopes for All the young prospects you listed above. Wish I had the time to watch young Reyna develop. His father was one of my all time player.
The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

Being reported, from the Netherlands, that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Sergino Dest - Bayern offered Ajax 20M for Dest, but it was rejected, because they had him valued at 30M.
It's also being reported, from Germany, that Dest attended Bayern Munich's DFB-Pokal game, last Wednesday.
