interesting MLS head coach hires this off-season:

3 MLS head coaches, (Jason Kreis/Orlando City, Sigi Schmid/LA Galaxy & Mikael Stahre/San Jose), have been fired, since the All-Star break. NYRB has not committed to keeping Chris Armas past this season, and Anthony Hudson/Colorado & Veljko Paunovic/Chicago could be fired, in November.......Head coach candidates rumored to be contacted are: Caleb Porter, Marc Dos Santos, Thierry Henry, Guillermo Barros Schelotto, Robin Fraser, Miguel Herrera, Matias Almeyda, Jeremy Gunn & David Moyes.

I guess Mike Petke is safe for now.

Chris Armas inherited a good team...so how he perform in the playoffs will determine his fate.

All good names on your would be coaching list. Just dont let David Moyes come near Atlanta!
The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

Why wouldn't Petke be safe??? - His team plays attractive, attacking soccer, he plays young players, coming through the academy, they presently have a playoff spot, and this is his 1st full season as the RSL head coach.......The other head coach that is on the hot seat is Carl Robinson, at Vancouver. He's been head coach since the 2014 season, and they haven't come close to contending for the MLS Championship. They're also in danger of missing the playoffs.

You're right!!! NYRB's performance, in the playoffs, will determine Armas' fate. He has to win over the RB organization.......Marsch won the Supporters' Shield & Manager of the Year, in his 1st season. RB liked Marsch. They helped him get his UEFA Pro license, and hired him as the RB Liepzig assistant manager.

Heard yesterday, that Colombia & Mexico have contacted Tata, so we will see.......Moyes could do well in MLS, BUT I don't think AUFC is a good fit.......Also hope US Soccer not thinking about hiring him as the USMNT head coach.

Do you realize that Toronto FC, the reigning MLS champions, are presently 18th overall, 9th in the Eastern Conference, and fighting for a playoff spot (3 East teams ahead of them)???
