  • HL!!!.......Have you seen or heard of this???

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/christi...er-11546427455

I knew his transfer fee would be the highest ever paid for a U.S. player, but I thought it would be about $50M - $55M, considering the transfer fees being paid, not $73M.......Will be interesting to see how he adjusts to the more physical Premier League.

Being reported, for months, that 16 year-old Giovanni Reyna (Claudio Reyna's son) will be going to Borussia Dortmund, when he receives his Portuguese passport.......He turned down a Homegrown contract from NYCFC.

We will see how it work out Chelsea have a way of not giving players too many chances.

      Hear Atlanta got Brek Shea.

        Yeah, I saw it.

He will be loaned out until the end of of the season.

The kid has some very good qualities. Seen him play several bgg times and I like what I see.

If Rayna's son is as good as his Dad...then he must be something special.

Shea is an under achiever. He could not make it in Europe. He reminds me of Johnson.

Some players are late bloomers. Hope he takes advantage of playing with a championship team.

Went to PL & regressed. Returned to U.S., and Klinsmann tried to convert him to a LB. Good luck! Maybe de Boer can get some production out of him.......He & Juan Agudelo are two of the biggest disappointments, in U.S. soccer, and their stubbornness & single-mindedness to play only in the PL (especially Agudelo) was a big contributor to this.

Late bloomer??? - I think Shea is past that stage. He'll be 29 before the '19 season starts.

                    Thanks for the update.

Was curious to know if Bello and Andrew Carlton played. Did not see a players list.
