I have 1 Million dollars to invest.

Option 1: Spend 1 Million dollars to train 10 Nurses who go abroad and send back remittance

Option 2: Spend 1 Million dollars to train 10 Shipping and Logistics engineers that stay in Jamaica providing consumption GCT, taxes and contribute to export economy.

Let me say this to give Maudib and the klan a chance to wheel and come again...The klan acts...and, wants us to also act...as if problems and solutions can be broken down into simple one issue/topic/entity that can be packaged in an airtight 'little-box' cut off from any other thing.

What is being discussed is a less than efficient short term method to mop up unused labour... you do not want to twist that into some LABOUR EXPORT STRATEGY when you have not properly identified your niche markets and have a human resource strategy to maximize the opportunity..

Well what is the rate of population growth in those our neighbours?
...do any have the type - vigorous, large and growing underground economy?
...do any have raw material or minerial resource we do not have?
...better educated work-force?
...etc., etc?
