The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has withdrawn its injunction seeking to block the counting of two boxes which the Electoral Office had misplaced.
This disclosure was made Thursday morning by attorney-at-law for JLP candidate Tarn Peralto, Harold Brady.
Mr. Brady said the party withdrew its injunction because its candidate is being sworn in.
Legal tussles had been going on in the Supreme Court following the JLP's application for the injunction into the counting of the disputed ballots.
It is understood that the two unaccounted boxes could be counted as early as Thursday afternoon.
