Fatal stabbing near Jamaica Pond

A man was stabbed and killed in the small hours in Jamaica Plain yesterday.
Boston police found the unidentified 30-year-old man at the intersection of Perkins Street and the Jamaicaway. His shirt was soaked with blood from multiple knife wounds to his chest. The gruesome discovery occurred across from the entrance to Jamaica Pond - a popular walking and jogging route in the neighborhood.
Detectives searched the victim's gray Ford F150 in the dark. By daylight, only a yellow police tape and lingering news trucks remained.
