Political analysts Richard 'Dickie' Crawford and Charlene Sharpe-Pryce expect Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller to retain most members of her former administration in her Shadow Cabinet and include a few new faces.
"I am thinking that the PNP (People's National Party) would put some young people with the experienced ones so they can begin to understand the reins of government," Mr. Crawford told The Gleaner yesterday.
Mrs. Simpson Miller indicated this intention in her address to party supporters on Sunday.
According to Mr. Crawford, former Finance Minister, Dr. Omar Davies, is likely to become the Opposition Spokesman on Finance, while former National Security Minister Dr. Peter Phillips could shadow his former ministry, and former Education Minister Maxine Henry-Wilson is expected to keep a close eye on education.
Mrs. Sharpe-Pryce shared similar views. However, she noted that Peter Bunting could bolster Dr. Davies in Finance and Public Service.

Both analysts also agreed that former Agriculture Minister Roger Clarke should be the Shadow Minister for Agriculture, and Robert Pickersgill could become the watchdog for Transport and Works.
For the Energy, Mining & Telecommunications portfolio, Mrs. Sharpe-Pryce said Anthony Hylton could manage this, as his area of greatest concentration is located in this ministry.
"Possibly though, Mrs. Simpson Miller should allow Mr. Paulwell to continue with this portfolio as his knowledge base will be more potent here than his risky exuberance," she said.
Mrs. Sharpe-Pryce said Mr. Paulwell could also be named as Leader of Opposition Business if Dr. Phillips does not want to take the position.
Mr. Crawford noted that four or five persons won seats for the first time in the September 3 general election and some are expected to be included in the Shadow Cabinet.
According to him, Lisa Hanna, who won the South Eastern St. Ann constituency, could become the next Information, Culture, Youth and Sports spokesperson.
"Lisa is a good person for communication - that is right up her street. She is young, new and could make quite a difference for the PNP," said Mr. Crawford.
