    Tuesday, 18 September 2007 The police in Yallahs have now cleared a roadblock which was mounted by angry residents along the Yallahs main road Tuesday morning.

    The residents were protesting against the fatal shooting of Dexter Hyatt from the Hampstead community.

    During Tuesday morning's demonstration, it is alleged that policemen fired shots and tear gas into the crowd.

    19-year-old Tian Wolfe was reportedly shot during the altercation.

    It is reported that she was shot in the arm and chest.

    She was rushed to the Princess Margaret hospital in critical condition.

    The police told RJR News that she has died.

    According to reports, Mr. Hyatt was accosted by the police as he made his way to work early Tuesday morning.

    It is alleged that he was beaten and then shot.

    Mr. Hyatt died on the way to the Princess Margaret hospital.

    A few months back I posted an article about crowd violence in an African country. A few ites objected and started making reference to violence in some European games ... failing to see the point. Now see it happen again.
