  • The influence: From the 80s

Before KRS 1, you had Slick Rick, cant remeber who said it , but a comment was made that Jamaicans were ashamed to be identified in the 80s, dont know where he got that from ( Rick is Jamaican by the way ) . But listen to the story behind this hit and this was after La di da by Slick Rick and Dougie Fresh who sampled alot of yellowman phrases and straight out reggae tunes to blow up, but the Bridge is over is it for me, any song that can take out a bourough or crew that was banging is it for me. # 1 diss rap tune of all time. I didnt even touch the foundation Kool Herc who is Jamaican. Incidentally KRS 1 claims he is Jamaican.

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.
