Not just the motive...the entrapment and allowance of a possible illegal act.

It is the duty of all citizens to act promptly to prevent violation of law if possible and not to wait for advantage. This is especially so for those seeking office.

If I were the judge, I would ask the petitioners WHEN they knew and what steps they took. This would be relevant to my decisions. The law is a shackle for al (despite what PJ said), so violators should go and the cynical should be made to pay as well. What kinda society we gonna have otherwise?
