    What's the deal with Digicel?

    I bought a phone in Jam. last December and last week I tried to use it in other Caribbean countries, namely, Dominica, Barbados etc., only to be told that I would have to buy a new SIM card in each country.

    Can someone enlighten me.

    my sister has digicel and she was able to use it in st martin without buying another sim....as far as i know digicel has roaming in the caribbean.

      My Digicel is roaming right now but for the last two times I came up here this year the CWJ one was not...

        Mine does not work in the U.S. In Dominica, Barbados, Antigua & St. Lucia - the Digicel logo appeared and that was all. Mi was salt. Thank God me had my AT&T phone, although roaming charges probably a guh slay me bank a/c
