  • Hear a PNP ad,

    a song entitled "Portia" nice reggae riddim yes ... but there is a line that have me amused;

    ~all we need is you
    all we need is you
    to see us through!~

    "Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)

        PNP unveiled a raft aof new ads over the week-end, these rae much better than the previous ones.

        Understand hey fired the previous ad agency and the new one hit the ground running.

        The new ad that resonates with me is one that starts with a clip of Bruce Golding saying how embarrassed he is with the level of growth of the economy and saying we should copy the South Asian models.

        In the same ad you have a PNP affiliated Trade Unionist talking about the sub human conditions these workers in the Asian countries have to work under and the low level of pay they receive and that the Jamaican workers are much better off than their south Asian counterparts.
        Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.

            sooooo....the delay has afforded the pnp some time to regroup? fact or fiction?

              The new PNP ads are "sensible", calming and pure positives...Forward looking!

              I particularly liked when one came on immediately after the one with the JLP's Audley Shaw accusing and atteempting to tear Portia apart.
              "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

                  Karl ... if it was me singing, as long as its PNP you'd love it.
