Rebirth of the America First ideology/movement.

The America First movement was publicly unveiled September 1940, as the America First Committee. It took advantage of the public push against the U.S. entering WWII, and became the foremost non-interventionist group. They not only objected to the U.S. entering the war, but also supplying Britain and Russia with aid and armaments. What wasn't public knowledge, at the time, was that most of the group's founders and leadership were Nazi sympathizers and supporters of Fascism, including the group's spokesman, WWI "hero" Charles Lindbergh. 3 days after the Pearl Harbor attack, the group dissolved, fearing public backlash and being targeted by the government, December 1941.
The first attempt at a rebirth, of the America First movement, was David Duke's 1990 run for the U.S. Senate (David Duke - American white nationalist, neo-Nazi, and former Imperial Wizard of the KKK). Duke presented the America First foreign policy as the corner-stone of his candidacy. He lost.
The next time we publicly heard about the America First foreign policy was from Donald Trump, during his 2016 U.S. presidential candidacy.......June 2015, Trump announced he was seeking the Republican presidential nomination; July 2015, David Duke & 3 leaders of the Christian Right met with Trump's reps and spoke with him; August 2015, David Duke publicly supports Trump's candidacy; January 2016, Jerry Falwell Jr. endorses Trump; February 2016, David Duke said, "Voting for these people (later identified as Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz) voting against Donald Trump at this point is really treason to your heritage. I'm not saying I endorse everything about Trump, in fact I haven't formally endorsed him. But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action. I hope he does everything We hope he will do."; February 2016, the Bible Belt unified their support for Donald Trump; April 2016, Donald Trump officially presented his America First foreign policy; June 2016, over 1,000 Christian Right leaders met with Trump, in New York, to outline their contribution to the America First foreign policy.
March 2021 - The design of the stage at CPAC looked like a copy of the Odal Rune, which was adopted by pre-WWII fascists, in Germany, and used by at least 2 Nazi military divisions, during WWII.
April 2021 - Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republican U.S. representative for Georgia's 14th congressional district, and other House GOP members, planned to launch the America First Caucus, which highlighted respect for Anglo-Saxon political traditions.......The plan was abandoned when Republican and Democratic leaders opposed it.

Ask yourself why the U.S. media, and media in general, are ignoring this movement and not showing the history and continued partnership between the Christian Right and racist/white supremacist groups.

I would not call it a rebirth more like a continuation,its has been so from Americas' inception. 1776 America declared it would stay out of european wars and European powers should stay out of America while maintaining its own racist shitstem. What happened in the 1930s to 40s was America embraced white supremacy in all its glory to the point where it had the highest number of lynchings from the mid 18th century to the 60s ( https://www.naacp.org/history-of-lynchings/ )- the Jim Crow years , where the Nazi Party could hold a convention at MSG (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1939_N...Square_Garden). In fact America did not join the WW2 until the Japanese bombed pearl harbor forcing it to fully commit to the allies. Some Historians allege America financed the German War machine to a point . Americas question in that time was which racist ideology was it going to follow, Germany /Europes or their own.

That said the white supremacist ideology of Trumpism/ David Duke / America first isnt new,its something that African Americans and people of color will tell you they feel by systemic racism in schools, healthcare,housing and the criminal justice system. What happened is that todays white supremacist ideology has continued with a twist to suit their purpose in trying and stop the browning of America where it is anti immigrant to black and brown with the assistnace of mega media powerhouses. Lipstick on a hog still makes it a hog or Bhutto driving a Benz ,still makes the person a Bhutto.

I must add the selling point( America 1st) is also to put people of color against each other where African Americans and legal (citizens) brown and black immigrants should be shamed in supporting their ideology under the guise of good paying jobs at the expense of their civil rights , rights which their ancestors shed 400 years of blood for.

Prohibition - The alliance between the Church and the KKK.
Prohibition was presented to the U.S. public as a campaign to stop the production, importation, transportation and sale of alcoholic beverages, which they claimed was the cause of a lot of criminal activity plaguing the country, BUT it was used as a cover for Nativism (anti-immigrant activism).
The first time there was a public political alliance/partnership between the Church/Anti-Saloon League (ASL) and white supremacists/KKK was for the push for Prohibition. This alliance between the Church and the Ku Klux Klan was crucial to both enacting Prohibition and maintaining it for 13 years.
Nativism, then, could find no better cover than Prohibition. Drinking was closely associated with Blacks and immigrants such as the Irish and Italians (both largely Catholic). These were the very groups, along with the Jews, targeted by the KKK, so the Klan was strongly pro-Prohibition.
At the national level, the ASL did not overtly incite religious and racial prejudice, but at the local level there was very little distinction between membership in the KKK and in an ASL-affiliated church. The KKK was terrifyingly popular, which allowed them to muscle their way into and control vigilante law enforcement. Saloons were torched, speakeasies were destroyed and armed patrols were sent out to tar and feather bootleggers. It wasn't unheard of for people to be killed for drinking, which many Prohibitionists supported. The list of proposed punishments, for drinking, included: exile to concentration camps, public confinement to cages, sterilization, and execution of the offender and all progeny 4 generations down the line. KKK-backed political candidates, with racist and xenophobic platforms, were elected to office across the country, and from their positions of power, they cracked down and supported Prohibition to the letter. Providing ideological support and justification for the KKK's brutality, murder, racism and xenophobia were the many preachers at ASL-affiliated churches. They would declare that Catholics and Jews controlled America's newspapers, and insist that only the Klan could protect America from disaster, or that Blacks, Jews and Catholics were a threat to America's values, and only the Klan could protect their way of life. They also made claims like, the assassins of Lincoln, Garfield and McKinley were all born Catholic.

Why say an alliance,when they are one of the same,KKK members were God fearing ( white) church members and God fearing church members were part of the KKK. More like ideologues ,or party to the same belief intertwined or intrinsically linked from the birth of this nation.
