  • Hurricane Dean News & Info

    Good idea, Exile.

Remember, the electricity will soon be cut in Jamaica. You should be able to reach you family and friends by the mobile phones.

    My number is 836-1530.

    Stay safe, everybody!

I been listening to Cliff Hughes and his crew on Nationwide covering the hurricane. First time listening to them and I like the coverage and the spirit of the team. I'll have to bookmark them for the election and general news coverage.

                              State of Public Emergency declared.
Issued by the Governor General on the advice of the PM.
Covers the period of 1 month...but, can be lifted at any time.
First review will be by the PM tomorrow.

My comment - Clear that the State of Public Emergency will be lifted at earliest possible occasion deemed A-OK!
