Idiot ,it gave context of how it moved from enslaved Africans cooking in the ground( the authentic way)to pan;to its international appeal where/why it has to be protected by intellectual property as the reason for the article. Comprehension isn't your strong suit.THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

pan chicken is pan chicken...jerk chicken is jerk chicken...two distinctively different methods of preparation...according to this article you can rub up the chicken in GI approved spices and it's jerk chicken...which is rubbish...you can't cook jerk chicken in a pan you silly farriners...that's called pan chicken not jerk chicken...jerk is cooked on pimento wood...dummies abound...

Idiot , the article is about protecting intellectual property, how you and others want to put your spin on it ,is the point ! You are free to debate the intricacies of it, as long as you give credit to its foundation, the fact that you cant see it, in your pursuit to debate its (Jerk) authenticity ,makes you blind and dumb.THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!
