the US constitution says all men are created equal,justices ruled across the land slavery was legal,basically making a mockery and contradicting the constitution. It took ammendments and a 100 years before that became recognized across the land,because some argue today we are still trying to achieve it,two different things.
Point is a ruling doesnt mean its right or just under the constitution and it can come from the highest court in the land.
The justices erred under the jamaican constitution and its a shame an
ammendment is needed ,it speaks to enslaved colonial legacy and our highest court is not immune.
