More Needs To Stand Up To Have More Accountability
Over many years, many of us have been standing up: journalists who do investigative work; talk show hosts who call it as it is; columnists who speak truth to power; whistle-blowers in ministries, departments and agencies; our law-enforcement officials; and, most of all, ordinary citizens who make social media posts, write letters and call radio programmes. That is why we are getting some accountability, but this is far from enough. To get more justice, more of us need to stand up.

Holness erred in attacking Manley, he should have held it firmly at this current PNP party, he has more than enough to work with to win. The anti corruption card being played by the PNP is working, if not this election the next will definetly see the outing of the JLP as the saying goes same stick juck pig , juck sheep sheep.
That said, Leff Manley name alone !.
For the 11 years for which Manley held the position of prime minister of Jamaica, the 23 years that he led the PNP, and for the 43 years he was in public life, Manley demonstrated that politics was about people. Not about corruption as some current political representatives seem to be about.

True,but his administration rob at the same level ,some would argue more. You and your labarites buddies dont get it and it applies to the PNP also,voters dont care what they are getting now,its what they can get tomorrow, especially when the rich get subsidized in freaky ways and the poor and middle class are scared to bits of losing their scarce gains.
The only way to pacify that is through strong anti corruption laws/initiatives which are palpable, not lip service.
