Growing up I’ve always wondered why they never built the roads over the gullies. Sandy gully comes immediately to mind. That’s easily a four lane thoroughfare right there.
Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries Audley Shaw says research is currently under way for the development of roadways above gullies across Jamaica, particularly in Kingston, as a direct response to increasing vehicular traffic in the capital.
“It is now being researched that wherever there is a gully, there is an opportunity for a bypass above the gully.
