    Actually the no P's decide it.

    They dont vote FOR people, they vote AGAINST people.

    In a backlash, a few diehards get disenchanted and stay home, while the neutrals vote against the blamed incumbents.

                I dont agree- in football elections yes, they might vote against but not in party politics...people vote FOR a candidate
