Of course the strained relationship we have with all our smelly fingers pointing Caribbean neighbours is impactful but it could have easily been Jamaica, what then would be your take?

Who said it will not be affected. It will not be affected tourism in in a very huge way. It could have been worst. Most of the big hotel players and destinations are not affected. It is a sad case but by the coming winter season most of the players will be up and running. I worked at Halfmoon during Gilbert and the aftermath. It took us more than a year to get halfmoon on stream. Most workers were laid off, I was one of the few who had a job to help rebuild.
