    This is worth pursuing.

    It will be tough in the beginning, but real wealth will be sustainable.
    The only amendment I would make is to CARICOM members the option to choose between the pound or the dollar, we have to make the two players compete in making their currency more favourable.
    T&T had suggested something similar during our time of prosperity, the idea was scuffed at by Jamaica, and here we are now.

    Why not have a carribbean currency,pegged to the US dollar ?

      When your dollar is at 5-1 it is easier to say this than when your dollar is at 130-1. Can't see how the US would be a currency for these islands who have such a huge variation in value.
      • Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. Life is for living and I won't spend my life feeling cheated and downtrodden.
