  • Gwaan Andrew, Gwaan Barlett

    Let me say Gwaan Andrew.

I have been critical of some things in the pass but Holness seems to be moving Jamaica ahead with a fairly steady hand. There seems to be some co-ordinated development that is coming on stream. He has gain the trust of the young population and with Ruel Reid in tow seems to be providing more training and programs to prepare a better workforce.

Road development and infrastructure seems to be going apace. taxes are collected and some services are better. NSWA needs to improve.

Gwaan Bartlett. Again seems to leading the pack. Free public beaches with proper utility is coming online. Hope Parish council take care and the people don't steal the toilets and sinks but work to make them better. Port Royal back in play, Port Antonio is looking to come back in play, Boscobel Airport to be open to some commerical flight soon. Trying to get more money to be spent in Jamaica by tourist by some of these projects and the food tourism and Artisian villages. He has provided 4 percent loan to small business tourism related and along with the ministry providing hospitality classes in high school and making high schoolers professionals or first line managers in the Industry. Bartlett hard work and constant fight to make tourism in Jamaica is obvious internationally in the tourism circle and is bearing fruits.

Again the government needs to work on the devaluation of the Jamaican dollar, and security is a must. These areas need improvement for Jamaicans to benefit.

PNP better get rid of the old feet who have not been able to provide solution from the 1990s and get young people involved in progressive way or they will be left behind. New ideas and young blood needs to be on the forefront. People are demanding action and not a bag of mouth at least right now and it hard for people who was deep in politics up through the 70, 80s and 90s to tell you about solution.
