Stuart Hall said the left has to embrace itself to counter the far neo liberal right.I agree , democrats never truly embraced and defended Obama esp Obama care, now they find that they have to ! based on the fact you have a president that is so racist to promote the ideology that being associated with a black man with a muslim name is a negative , hence so is his policies and he will attack democrats soley along those lines and nothing else.
