Mugabes successor may well be worse than him, after all he was prepared and mentored for succession by King Mugabe until Gucci Grace decided she wanted more riches and power than she already had. Even if that turns out to be the case it doesn't make Mugabe a success as a nation builder.

Mugabe was an outstanding liberation movement leader. You cannot take that away from him. Its just a pity he didn't walk away after he accomplished that mission.
