That’s what happens when you’re not true to yourself & your “beliefs”…….I’m not sorry for Bernie. He has always presented himself as an Independent/Socialist, and he didn’t join either major political party because neither fully shared his beliefs & views.
Bernie is NOT a Democrat, so why did he think he would get FULL support from the party against a Democrat, entrenched in the political system???
Bernie switched his political affiliation to Democrat in 2015, for the primaries, so what PROMISES did Bernie make to the Democratic Party, politicians & corporate/rich backers to campaign & seek THEIR nomination & run as the Democratic presidential candidate???Comment

Yeah, but Trump is not a true Republican either. The difference is he never allowed the party establishment to hijack the primaries. Bernie Sanders's mistake was that he never went after the Clinton criminals hard enough including her emails, her pathetic performance as Secretary of State, the criminal Clinton Foundation, Haiti earthquake, neglect of the plight of black Africans in Libya after the thugs she sponsored overthrew Khadaffi etc etc. Bernie was as pathetic as she was thus we ended up with Trump. The Republicans gave prominence, credibility & a platform to Trump, the Tea Party, etc. because of RACISM & BIGOTRY.......The Republican Party opened its doors to any & everyone after Obama was elected president.
