Africa has entered the space race, with Ghana's first satellite now orbiting earth

The GhanaSat-1―Ghana’s first satellite―began its orbit recently, with a little help from some friends.

The cubesat, built by a Ghanaian engineering team at All Nations University, was delivered to NASA’s International Space Station in June on a SpaceX rocket that took off from pad 39a at Kennedy Space Center, a NASA spokesperson confirmed.

The GhanaSat-1 deployed into orbit from the Center in July, and is now operational, according to project manager Richard Damoah, a Ghanaian professor and assistant research scientist at NASA

This is nothing but an expensive photo op. They didn't create the rocket, they didn't launch it, they didn't even pay for it. I would imagine those 3 students in the photo probably had little to do with the satellite's overall success. But the photo and story tells a story, "The West feels sorry for you backwards tribal people, so were going to launch a satellite and make it appear it was from Ghana

Yes. But I suppose this is what we get when we prioritize:

* Following & worshiping Babylon politics & Democrat politicians (Clintons, Obama, Congress-people etc etc) supposedly "on our side". They are not...they're on the side of and owned by the lily white oligarchy ruling America. That oligarchy oppresses and seeks to control ALL the little people below them. That's the only way to retain "The Order".

* Following & worshiping Babylon Media Elites...and the brain-deforming propaganda they spew every second of every day. We think the so-called "liberal media is "on our side". They're not..they're on the side of and owned by the lily white oligarchy ruling America

* We don't prioritize science, technology. & development within our community..and the ability to MAKE valuable 21st century products. We prioritize preparing ourselves for servant jobs, yappin' inanely, dancin', singin', playin' ball or some sport...plus lots of TV & movie watchin.

That toxic combo turns people into relative dummies to be frank...unable to even discern what's in our self interest...much less to ACT in that self interest

I was pleased to see this positive (symbolic) story...and decided to check the comments. Of course we do need to master science & tech even though most don't appear to realize it and...worse... are not prepared to WORK towards that goal.

It's mostly lip service that one sees regarding that obvious imperative of science mastery for Black folks....everywhere

At first I was astonished at the vile feedback on this story....then after a few moments I recalled the perverse philosophy of the forces we're facing. So this stuff is par for the course.

However the most perverse and by far the most damaging philosophy is that residing in our collective brains. Our Backward & Negative Thinking is mainly what creates our backward & negative status. So the real problem is within US
