Thousands of wine enthusiasts descended on the city of Bordeaux, France last week to attend the 19th edition of Vinexpo Bordeaux, the leading international exhibition for wine and spirits professionals. With over 40,000 trade visitors from 150 countries, 2,300 exhibitors from 40 countries, 1,000 journalists from 50 countries, 10 Best Sommeliers in the World (MSM), and 12 Michelin-starred chefs, Vinexpo 2017 was held at the Bordeaux Exhibition Centre, over four days, and was open not only to wine and spirits professionals and associated business (importers, wholesalers, restaurants, duty-free…) but also journalists.

Marijuana tax revenue hit $200 million in Colorado as sales pass $1 billion
The state of Colorado pulled in nearly $200 million in tax revenue last year thanks to its $1.3 billion in marijuana revenue.
The Colorado Department of Revenue announced Thursday the state’s revenue had pushed past $1 billion. Colorado legalized recreational marijuana in 2012, along with Washington state, and this was its third year of regulated sales. In its first year revenue hit $699.2 million, followed by $996.2 million the second year.
